Hi Alene,

Of the workshop series, I love the first two, but I also am enjoying the third one, which looks like a plant with blue foliage. I'm so glad you are seeing art for what it partially is: play. Your irises are wonderful. I'm loving all the colors in your paintings. What can I say, I'm a sucker for color!

It's raining today in my part of Illinois and cooling off, which I am enjoying.

The Pendejo administration just gets stupider and stupider every day. I laughed at your Taco Belle comment. Very witty, and like Kim, I love your post's sass. I've been coping with all the Pendejo/Republican shit the only way I know how: watching old YouTube clips of Robin Williams' stand-up comedy. I actually find myself laughing, which is hard to do these days.

I also am rooting for Ukraine. My ancestry is there, and Russia needs to pay big time for its mistakes and cruelty. And I find myself cheering about the drone attack. Yay!

Keep painting on....

I’m so glad you understand that feeling about the Ukraine war, and the laughingstock that the TACO administration has become. I stole the taco belle comment from a threads post, but there have been so many memes lately on social media with tacos! I will continue to share the updates on the series with each successive pass. Take care and enjoy your cool days, and keep laughing.

Yes, I plan to keep laughing. One of Williams' standup comedy topics was done so many years ago, and it was relevant today. He was talking about Russia's cruelty. I was like, shit, how did he know what is going on today?

Looking forward to updates to your series.

I love the sass that this post exudes. And the rain is awesome! Like the PNW. Thanks for the chuckles.

Thanks Kim, we have to laugh whenever we can. Let’s get together soon! I’m hoping we can continue to get rain this summer. I love it when it stays green!
