Hi Alene, I really like the second painting because of complementary colors purple and yellowish. I also like the blue-dominated paintings.
Learning a new way of art is challenging, I'm sure. The learning process generally is filled with discomfort....any learning process. Just keep doing what you're doing.
People will still enjoy your art. I know this. You are doing great.
Thanks, Beth. Yes it is uncomfortable, but also very exciting. Mixing paint colors doesn’t sounds like the most fun task, but it’s really incredible what colors you can make once you start with your primaries, especially warm and cool differences in mixing. It would be great to eventually not have to buy so many colors of paint and just rely on mostly self-mixed colors.
