Waking up to Rain
47-FU

I’m not sure what time it started, but I woke up to the smell of it, and wet dog hair. Velcro was outside and then jumped back into bed, and there was that cold sensation that we’ve missed over the winter of a freshly snowed-on dog crawling into the space between us. We had the window open and as I started to wake up I could smell it and put the two together. Rain!
Our dogs actually smell good when they’re wet, maybe it’s something about Australian Shepherd hair, but it doesn’t have that unpleasant wet dog odor that other dogs can have.
It rained pretty hard for a while, but mostly it was light rain based on the ripples in the puddles. I worked on a video this morning while Dennis took the girls for a walk when the clouds started to break up. I went for a walk later and then decided it would be a good day for matzo ball soup. We made a huge pot.
Dennis is taking about ten days off from work, we will do a few fun things and we will also be working on projects around the house. Tomorrow I have my last ketamine session, hopefully for a long time. I will probably schedule a maintenance session in 6-12 months now that I know remission doesn’t go on indefinitely. I have a scopolamine patch to slap on first thing in the morning, and Dennis will drive me to and from my appointment. I don’t expect to get a lot done for the next few days, but by the weekend I think I’ll be good.
I also finished this little one on a canvas panel yesterday. I call it “The Herd”. I think it looks like seahorses. What do you think? It’s a 12 x 12.

I was really angry the past few days with the latest Pendejo follies, how many people are going to die at the hands of this reckless, corrupt, evil, greedy, arrogant administration? I have been extra aggressive with my marks in my paintings this week. I needed to switch to wood panels because I’m afraid I will puncture the canvas.
Did you see the rash on the Pendejo’s neck? Looked like shingles from stress, but they were saying he’s using some cream to treat skin damage (yes, say it, cancer). The drug in the cream if it is what they say it is, is called 5-fluorouracil. The abbreviation is 5-FU, a perfect acronym for cancer. Except for the Pendejo, I think it should be 47-FU.
5-FU is used to treat a lot of different cancers, usually in injection form through a pump for gastrointestinal cancers like colon cancer. But used topically it can treat skin conditions like warts, precancerous skin lesions, and more. Our country needs an endless supply of 47-FU though, extra high dose.
I’ll be back to post as soon as I am functional after the ketamine. Take care of yourselves. There is nothing normal about what is happening. Here’s a link to my newest video.

Hi Alene,
Great job on "The Herd." I saw the seahorses immediately, and I love the colors and design of this painting. I totally get the 47-FU comment because 5 FU was in one of my chemo cocktails. Even then, I thought the FU was an appropriate name for it.
The Pendejo is killing so many people. He really has no redeeming qualities. Does skin cancer look like that patch on his neck? He is rotting from the inside out.
