Painting Process

Process in reverse. Left: as of today; Center: second draft, Right: first draft. Not done yet, and not sure what I’ll call it.

The process of abstract painting is random. Some people call it intuitive. I’d say I’m still at a place on the learning curve where I can’t yet call it intuitive. I rarely know what I want to paint when I pull out a new canvas in the studio.
