Hanukkah Run Night Five

Running up the trail to the A, it’s about 560 feet of gain to the top and just a little over 2 miles each way. Winter grasses and rocks on a cloudy, dark day, then we reached the top where we can see town to the east and the reservoir, Arthur’s Rock, and Horsetooth Rock, where we’ve been the past few days and where we’ll be going the final night. We set up our menorah on the rocks overlooking Horsetooth Rock, and then as we ran back down the trail, looking back up at the A.

Today was a little less exhausting and I did get out to the studio to paint, but I was definitely spinning my wheels. I spent the morning out there working on some paintings, but after 11:30 Gypsy wouldn’t leave me alone so I took the girls for their walk. Then I had to go grocery shopping, and I always put that off. I was hungry, too. I made it through…
