Eight long years

Something to do with lightness or easing up. I created this fairly quickly today, it’s on another old canvas I didn’t like. I get so many people commenting on my poppies so it’s an easy theme, but I had the texture from the old painting that adds interest. Other than a few minor touch ups, it’s done.
